The drawback with Hepsia is the lack of root access to the dedicated web server, but you will rapidly cherish the beauty of Hepsia's drag-and-drop File Manager instead.

Control Panel 1 - The Hepsia CP is a regular device solely in combination with the Debian Linux Operating System and is supplied for free. With Hepsia you can host unlimited top level domain names in one user account. This is feasible owing to Hepsia's powerful Domain Manager platform. The other hosting Control Panel setups, i.e. cPanel and DirectAdmin, are available solely with CentOS. In contrast with Hepsia, with them you must use 2 autonomous user accounts. This is so, since cPanel and DirectAdmin do not provide any domain name registration/transfer/administration functionalities. If you choose Ubuntu as an Operating System for your dedicated web hosting server, there will be no Control Panel opportunity.
Hosted Domains 2 - unmetered domains can be hosted with all available hosting CP setups, but only with Hepsia you can register/transfer/manage your web site names in a single web hosting account. Regrettably, the cPanel/DirectAdmin web hosting Control Panel tools do not supply such option at all - there is no Domain Manager menu and as a result they request TWO different hosting user accounts: one domain management/billing/support account and one website management account (i.e. the actual cPanel/DirectAdmin hosting Control Panel).
Operating System (OS) 3 - you will discover that the Hepsia Control Panel can work with Debian Linux only. It's free of charge to run it on your dedicated web server. Hepsia is not available with CentOS or Ubuntu. The cPanel and DirectAdmin hosting Control Panel setups can operate only with the CentOS OS. Neither of them is offered with Debian or Ubuntu.
